As we all know, Lululemon is not cheap. That said, we are willing to pay the premium for the quality, look and feel. Of note, is that employees that live near a distribution center sometimes get the opportunity to go to a warehouse sale. This is a sale in which you can get Lululemon items for rock bottom prices. Here is some information:
“Some stores are lucky enough to be located near a distribution center. DCs often have a small store attached that is strict employees only- ie, i can’t carry in my baby. They are attached to the warehouse, so entry insurance only covers employees
You can shop here as an employee. You need to make an appointment, and you get a time limit (just to keep things moving and on schedule) Items here are CHEAP. The last time I went, Down For It All Vests were $5.
There is no purchase limit, although they can enforce a limit if you appear to be intending to resell. Unlike our other staff purchases, items from the DC Warehouse may be gifted to family and friends.”
I went to a warehouse sale in Ottawa in 2011ish. Leggings for $15, tops for $10 – it was picked over when I got there because they let educators shop early and there was an hours long line to get in.
its a distribution center sale – stores that are close to a DC will get access to DC sales, its basically bins on bin of QP or returned products for super cheap. some items are completely damaged some are in great condition you just have to search but that’s why items are so cheap & they schedule time slots to keep it from getting crazy. it is employee only but if you don’t live close to a DC then thats prob why youve never heard it
They used to have warehouse sales in various cities. Went to one in Edmonton, Alberta (we do not have outlet stores here). Huge lineups to get in and amazing prices . They would further drop prices as the day went on too. At the time, my daughter was in dance and they sold both lululemon and Ivviva apparel. Got a lot of clothes for next to nothing.
