Lululemon Like New Trade In Program – What Stores?

If you are like most Lululemon shoppers, and fans, you know that their clothes last forever. Sometimes you want to upgrade. Personally, I have had men’s commission pants from Lululemon for over three years and they are still in fantastic shape. Starting in May 2021 you will be able to trade in or resell your “gently used” Lululemon clothes for a gift card. Exactly how it is going to work and how much you will be given for those Align 28 inch leggings has yet to be determined.

Here is what we know:

To participate in the Like New program, consumers in California and Texas can trade in their “gently used” clothes at a Lululemon store or by mail in exchange for a gift card. The items are then cleaned and will be offered for sale again through Trove, a company that handles all the back-end operations of “circular shopping” and has partnerships with other brand names such as adidasLevi Strauss, and Patagonia.

It is interesting that Lululemon would start in the states of California and Texas. That said, Lululemon has the most stores in these states (minus New York). California has 68 stores and Texas has 26 stores.

In May 2021 we will try to get some feedback from those that have taken their used Lululemon clothes into a Texas or California store. One thing we know for certain, this will be extremely popular as Lululemon fans will do anything to get a little bit of extra money back for their “gently used” workout clothes.

If you have gone through the process of trading in with the “Like New” Lululemon resale or trade in program please email me at jesse@wojdylosocialmedia.com about your experience. We would love to hear how it went and find out how much money we can get for our used Lulus.
